November 27, 2018 – Since 1994, UK brand maharishi has been the leader in authentic heritage and original camouflage prints. The brand’s founder and creative director, Hardy Blechman, wrote the 944-page book on disruptive pattern material, and camo has since become one of the most recognizable elements in today’s streetwear landscape.
Nike By maharishi creates a natural extension of this deep knowledge of military utility through a customizable collaboration across three silhouettes — the AF1 High, AF1 Low Utility and Air Max 270 Bowfin.
Inspired by World War II era military tour jackets, the AF1 High allows selection of leather, wool or a combination of the two. The AF1 Low and Air Max 270 Bowfin offer an array of lightweight, breathable ripstop fabrics. Of course, there are also several redacted camouflage patterns within the assorted fabrics. These feature a maharishi original pattern, Bonsai Forest — an apt celebration of the natural world and nature’s overarching, holistic influence on camouflage.
As a precursor to the digital launch, maharishi will release interpretations of each of the three silhouettes via raffle. To enter visit maharishistore.com and enter between 12pm GMT on November 27 and 12pm GMT on November 29.
The maharishi By You platform launches December 10.
