Editorial: Afternoon in the Prado

Published on November 8, 2018

The Black Halo team recently took a trip south to Balboa Park in San Diego, California for an editorial shoot.  The park is an iconic presence in the city of San Diego.  Spanish Colonial architecture stretches throughout the park, which includes amphitheaters, museums, concert halls, and restaurants. The Prado restaurant has amazing food with beautiful courtyard and rose garden views.  The rose garden, located above the Japanese Friendship Garden, is always open to the public.  There are multiple paths to access the Prado’s courtyard and garden, you can take the main pathway and catch a glimpse of the Botanical Building or veer from the path and walk along the cobblestone retaining wall for a bird’s eye view of the Japanese Friendship Garden and unobstructed view of both Casa De Balboa and House of Hospitality.
